Gigafactory Texas on 3 August 2022! This is where the Cyber Truck and Model Y will be built!

It’s the day before the Annual Shareholders meeting (aka Cyber Roundup) and crews are busy preparing for the arrival of a lot of participants. In addition, several significant areas of progress and/or changes all over the site, making for a lot to talk about throughout the video today!

In the video introduction, we discuss the shareholders meeting and the link needed to follow the live stream, and we look in depth at the current stat of the pipe pull under the Colorado river and what appears to be a temporary setback with a partial collapse in the underground bore. We also look at a major development on the east parking area, where a new car carrier and transport area has been painted in the southeast corner of this parking lot! This is a bullish sign for increased production numbers! Finally, we look closely at many interesting details and progress at the battery cathode plant!

Here are the highlights from today's video:
- Model Y’s on the south end arrangement has changed, with less on the parking side and more in the transport area and/or already shipped off-site! This, in addition to a new transport are on the east side may signal a change in production rate and processes. Will need to keep monitoring!
- The new supercharger station on the southwest corner is getting asphalt paving this morning, which should allow these stations to be commissioned and become operational by the end of the week!
- Many big changes at eh east parking lot! This includes a sectioned-off area with a tent likely for the shareholders meeting which will be held at Giga Texas tomorrow. Also, the southeast area has been completely re-paved and is now being painted with what appears to be a new car carrier pickup and transport area for new cars! This would almost double the existing area on the south end of the building and may indicate a change in production ramp! Crews are also installing forms for concrete to construct light pole bases in this area as well.
- The east secondary entrance appears nearly completed now, with all upper windows installed and most, if not all the glass doors also installed. The concrete landing area has also been completed, all just in time for the Annual shareholders meeting tomorrow!
- On the southeast area and both drilling sites on each bank of the Colorado river, we see crews attempting to recover from what appears to be a collapse over the drill bore, causing about 4,000 feet of treated water pipe to be pulled back to the south side of the river. This seems to be a temporary setback.
- On the east side of the Body-in-White, we see 5 more cargo bays cut into the existing walls where the new loading area was excavated and is nearing the point where rebar and concrete will be installed.
- Many interesting details and progress at the cathode plant today. A lot more floor & roof decking has been (and continues to be) installed, working to the north and now covering nearly 2/3rds of the building now on two upper floors and the roof.
- The north irrigation system installation & landscaping work continues, along with lighting conduit on the north side of the two “Cyber Berms”. In some areas, crews were installing more plants, and in others, more grass/sod, while on the east side, more irrigation pipe was being installed.
-There are some very big deliveries happening at the paint shop today, and it appears these are more modular segments for another paint line.
- Farther to the north, we see little activity while crews are waiting for permit approval for the electrical substation and Megapack construction to begin.
