Tesla Gigafactory Texas 16 December 2020 Cyber Truck & Model Y Factory Construction Update (08:45AM)

Gigafactory Texas on 16 December 2020! This is where the Cyber Truck and Model Y will be built!
A great day of flying at Giga Texas earlier and several new developments notes along the flight. The winds died down and the temps were up a few degrees, so it wasn't too bad out there. They are moving contractor trailers from their original locations to just east of the switchyard and in addition, two new land clearing areas are shown, with one growing larger and nearing where the contractor trailers were. I wonder what this signifies as there is a good amount of new area getting cleared south and east of the small water detention pond and east of the powerlines.

Here are the key highlights from today:
- Contractor trailers are being moved and new trailers are arriving on site and it appears that the switchyard area next to the powerlines may be the new contractor row. Generators, heating and A/C units and pathways are being installed along with these trailers
- Two land clearing areas east of the powerlines are growing and it looks like the main direction is eastward. There is a new land clearing area by the far east contractor trailers, and this is growing westward, so the two may eventually meet and if they do, a very large new clearing area will have been created
- The concrete structure has now grown north, getting 9 new columns over the isolation foundation area, including a row of double columns. More columns, braces and roof beams were arriving on the site at the time of filming
- The isolation foundation area has now had about 45% of the "top concrete" poured and work continues on another large area. Column footings continue construction on the east side of the former "Big Pit" and at the pace they are going, they will have finished all of them by the weekend and then this area can be filled in with dirt
- Footings completely surround the "zipper pit" and many are getting concrete poured. In addition, they have begun excavations for the east exterior wall base and footings just east of the "zipper"
- The "Zipper Pit" itself is getting work as more footings are being installed in the pit and it looks like some work on the mud bases on the floor of the pit is getting some construction as well
- The main steel structure has grown over 800 feet long now and they were preparing to add several more sections on the south side. Also, on the south side, differing levels are starting to appear as very long and very short columns are being installed and detail areas with different configurations beyond just a standard single- or two-story structure. On the north side, the steel structure has reached the northern wall base and so this area will be ready to expand wider
- GeoPier work on the south side of the west foundation continues and slowly marching south
- Quite a bit of material deliveries were occurring today, with steel, concrete and other deliveries happening all over the site
