[Eng-Recipe] How to make Sweet Potato Cake (蕃薯餅)

材料及份量:蕃薯(sweet potato)150g、糯米粉(glutinous rice flour / sweet rice flour)80g、糖(sugar)20g、鹽(salt)1g

做法:蕃薯切薄片以大火蒸8-10分鐘至熟,襯熱壓成茸加入糖、鹽拌勻,分次加入糯米粉混合拌成粉糰,分等份搓圓按平,鑊中掃上薄油,以中慢火煎蕃薯餅兩面至金黃煙靭有彈性便成。

PS:蕃薯有不同種類,如覺蕃薯粉糰太(杰)身,可加少許水份。

Ingredients: Sweet potato 150g, Glutinous rice flour / sweet rice flour 80g, Sugar 20g, Salt 1g
Instructions: Cut and Steam the sweet potato for 8-10 minutes, Press the Sweet potato into a puree texture then add sugar and salt. Mix together and then add the rice flour in small increments, Mix until it forms dough then cut the dough into balls and flatten them out. Lightly spread some oil on the pan and fry the sweet potato cakes, once they are golden they are ready.
PS: There are different types of sweet potatoes some that are harder, you may need to add some water when mixing into a dough.
