Strawberry Shortcake Sundae Easily made Gluten Free

I was craving a strawberry shortcake like my mom used to make. It turned out to be a strawberry shortcake sundae since I topped it with ice cream.
Ingredients
1 box cake mix of your choice. I used Pillsbury Gluten free funfetti cake mix. 1/3 cup of butter
1 cup of milk
3 eggs
Mix boxed cake mix with the above ingredients or follow directions on cake mix box. Preheat oven to 350 and spray cupcake liners with nonstick spray. Use ice cream scoop to fill cupcake liners. bake 12 to 15 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
Wash strawberries with 1 to 2 TBS of vinegar. Rinse well. Remove stems from strawberries. Cut strawberries and put 2 to 3 TBS of sugar over strawberries. Put in refrigerator.
To make shortcake, cut cupcake in half and place a bowl. Cover with strawberries and top with ice cream or cool whip and chocolate if you desire. Enjoy! Thanks for watching!
