The Troggs. Page One Records, 1968-9.

A music documentary video about the British rock band The Troggs, and their UK releases during 1968-9. The line-up at this time comprised Reg Presley (lead vocals), Ronnie Bond (drums), Pete Staples (bass guitar) and Chris Britton (guitar). In 1965 they were signed by Larry Page, manager of The Kinks and founder of Page One Records, although their music was originally issued via Fontana Records. Their first single of 1968 was Love Is All Around, which had charted in December 1967 in the UK and in May '68 in America. They followed this with the singles Little Girl, Surprise Surprise, and You Can Cry If You Want To. The Troggs recorded one studio album in 1968, called Mixed Bag, now their rarest UK album. In 1969 they released two singles Evil Woman and That's What You Get, and released the sampler album Trogglomania. I hope you enjoy the video.
