Chris Farlowe & The Thunderbirds [also Colosseum, Mick Jagger / Rolling Stones and The Small Faces]

A video about the soulful British blues singer Chris Farlowe, showing some of his 1960s UK recordings for EMI Columbia under the guidance of Chris Blackwell (of Island Records and Sue label) and Immediate Records (founded by Andrew Loog Oldham). Farlowe scored a UK number one hit single with his cover of Out of Time, produced by Mick Jagger. He covered many other Rolling Stones songs, including Paint It Black, Think, I'm Free, and Ride On Baby, as well as My Way of Giving by Steve Marriott and Ronnie Lane of The Small Faces. His other songs of note include Handbags and Gladrags (by Mike D'Abo of Manfred Mann), It's All Over Now, Baby Blue (by Bob Dylan), and I've Been Loving You Too Long (by Otis Redding), as well as many self-compositions. In the late 60s and early 70s he joined the bands Colosseum and Atomic Rooster.
