With The Beatles. UK Parlophone black & silver label, stereo records, 1960s-1980s.
A music documentary video about the UK stereo repressings of the second LP from British rock band The Beatles, entitled With The Beatles, featuring John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. The LP first appeared in 1963 on the classic Parlophone black and yellow label, which ran until 1969. This was replaced by a new design in black, white and silver, which now included one boxed EMI logo. This version was relatively short-lived and was revised a short time after to include two boxed EMI company logos. In the mid-70s a further change occurred when the rim text was revised; the 'Gramophone Co.' credit was replaced with 'EMI Records' and the 'Made in Gt. Britain' text was reset. UK records were also briefly pressed by EMI Pathe Marconi in France, while the British plant in Hayes underwent a refit. I will also describe the relevant sleeves and record liners these were housed in. The price guide value, as usual, is provided at the end. I hope you enjoy the video!
