Bob Dylan. Debut LP, UK pressings (CBS Records, 1962).

A documentary about the first UK LP from the legendary singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, simply titled Bob Dylan. This 1962 debut album was recorded in New York City in late 1961, produced by John Hammond and featuring a blend of traditional folk music and blues, comprising covers of songs by Jesse Fuller, Bukka White, Curtis Jones and Blind Lemon Jefferson, alongside two original compositions by Bob Dylan. Highlights include versions of The House of the Rising Sun and Baby Let Me Follow You Down, both of which would be covered soon after by the British beat group The Animals. Dylan followed this record with the classic LP The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan, which included such era-defining tracks as Blowin’ in the Wind, A Hard Rain's a-Gonna Fall,Girl from the North Country and Don't Think Twice, It's All Right.
