A video about the British rock band Manfred Mann, and their 1960s compilation LPs, including Mann Made Hits (with Paul Jones), Soul of Mann and What a Mann, recorded for both the HMV label and Fontana Records. These recordings feature the original line-up of Manfred Mann, Mike Hugg, Mike Vickers, Tom McGuinness and Paul Jones, and the musicians who joined later; Jack Bruce, Mike d’Abo and Klaus Voorman. Songs include 5-4-3-2-1, Do Wah Diddy Diddy, Pretty Flamingo, With God On Our Side, Just Like a Woman, Wild Thing, (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction, Mighty Quinn, Ha Ha Said The Clown, My Name is Jack, Semi-detached suburban Mr James, Fox On The Run and Ragamuffin Man, their final original single which peaked at No.7 in the NME chart in June 1969, after which the band called it a day. Mann and Hugg formed the group Manfred Mann Chapter Three, while Tom McGuinness founded McGuinness Flint with former John Mayall's Bluesbreaker Hughie Flint, and Manfred bassist Klaus Voorman joined Eric Clapton and his old friend John Lennon in The Plastic Ono Band.
