Dragon CRS-19 Launch, Rendezvous, Grapple, & Berthing

Launch and spacecraft separation of the SpaceX Dragon CRS-19 automated cargo craft on December 5, 2019, followed by a time lapse of the NASA TV feed of the rendezvous, grapple, and berthing by the Space Station Remote Manipulator System (SSRMS) or "robotic arm" aboard the International Space Station (ISS) on December 8, 2019. Expedition 61 ESA astronaut Luca Parmitano (@astro_luca) and NASA astronaut Drew Morgan (@AstroDrewMorgan) operated the SSRMS to grapple the Dragon.

The time-lapse video is preceded by graphics depicting the locations of various spacecraft docked to the International Space Station.

The time-lapse portion of the video is at 20 times actual speed. "Klingons" by James Horner is from the soundtrack "Star Trek III: The Search for Spock."
