NASA TV footage of the animated briefing for Russian extravehicular activity (EVA) ESA aboard the International Space Station (ISS on July 21, 2022. Expedition 67 Russian cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev (Олег Артемьев) (@OlegMKS) and ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti (@AstroSamantha) performed the spacewalk out of the Poisk (По́иск) airlock module.
The EVA began with the manual release of ten nanosats by Artemyev. The two spacewalkers then moved on to tasks related to the European Robotic Arm (ERA). A task to deploy the Strela 2 boom for use as a translation aid on future EVAs was deferred due to time constraints,
