Dragon CRS-20 Release & Departure

Time lapse of the NASA TV feed of the release of the SpaceX Dragon CRS-20 spacecraft from the Node 2 module ("Harmony") by the Space Station Remote Manipulator System (SSRMS) or "robotic arm" on April 7, 2020. This marked the last departure of a SpaceX Dragon-1 spacecraft. Future SpaceX automated cargo craft will use a new design based upon their Crew Dragon spacecraft. Those cargo missions will dock to the ISS, as opposed to being grappled and berthed by the SSRMS.

The time-lapse video portion is at 10 times actual speed.

"Leaving Drydock" by Jerry Goldsmith is from the soundtrack to "Star Trek: The Motion Picture."
