There are many training variables we have to consider when we train calisthenics or weights. First, there’s volume: how many exercises, how many sets per exercise, and how many reps per set? Then there’s intensity: should I only use bodyweight? Should I rep until failure? Should I add weight? Should I max out? Then ROM, form and rep tempo. The list goes on.
