How To Make Calisthenics MORE Functional

You've probably heard the term "functional training" before, but what does it mean? And how do you apply it? In a nutshell, functional exercise means to exercise in ways that will directly apply to improving the movement in your daily life. The best way to train functionally is to design a program specifically around your job and various habitual movements for your day-to-day life, but since I'm making videos and not training you individually, I can't do that. So, what's the next best thing? To show you how to make your calisthenics more functional in general. So, in this video I'm elaborating on 3 recommendations I have to make calisthenics routines more functional: using all 3 planes of movement, using gymnastics rings and "playing" (yes, literally having fun with your fitness and getting creative).
