How To Do a Dumbbell Single Leg Split Squat PROPERLY!

In this short video, I'm going to walk you through the dumbbell single leg split squat.

The single leg dumbbell split squat is a great exercise for your legs, particularly your quads and glutes, where you don't actually need to use too much weight.

Using 2 dumbbells and going to a higher rep range, anywhere between 12 and 20 reps, will really work your legs hard.

If you've never tried the single leg split squat before, I would recommend doing a couple of sets of around 12 reps with no weight, just so you can gauge your balance, and really pin down the correct form before you add weight.
