I picked this song to cover because I wanted to do a brand new song, I like the drum part and I like the song. It is off Ghost’s March 2022 release “Impera”, which went to #2 on Billboard’s Top 200 album chart. “Call Me Little Sunshine” was the second single off the album and went to #1 on Billboard’s Rock Main chart. The drummer is … well … I don’t know! He or she is just one the Ghost’s “nameless ghouls”. There are a few spots on my cover where I don’t like my playing, but overall a fun one to play with a heavy beat, some cool fills and nice embellishments throughout, including very effective use of the china cymbal.
