There are many different opinions and conflicting research about how much sleep that you need to function well.

So how much sleep do you need?

While this is a reasonable question, there is a much better question: “How do you maximize the quality of your sleep?”

The answer is to wake up and go to sleep at consistent times every day ideally. In addition, getting up early allows you to live a life of anticipation instead of reaction to daily stressors and is in accordance with your circadian rhythm, which is a biological process of activity (awake) and recovery (sleep).

The “best” version of yourself is entirely subjective. The “best” version of yourself is not what your parents wanted for you, or even your friends, but what springs from your heart and soul. The “best” version of yourself is not static, but an evolution.
