How to Use Blender Without a Numpad (Emulate Numpad on Laptop)

The numpad is the block of numbers on the right side of a full sized keyboard. Numbers on the numpad provide a built-in keyboard shortcut for various views. Unfortunately, most laptops don't have a numpad.

The Blender Preferences can be opened via the Edit menu. Within the Input section is the option "Emulate Numpad". When this is active, the keys running along the top of the keyboard can now change the view.

These views can also be accessed via the Viewport section of the View menu.
