Bacon Grilled Halloumi Toast #Shorts
Here's a ketofied version. The Almond Loaf is easy to make and you can keep and use it for a few days. It's a perfect meal prep especially when you're on the go. You can use normal bread, sugar and bbq sauce if you're not on keto.
Almond Loaf/Bread
Dry Ingredients:
2 cups Almond Flour
1 1/2 tbsps Baking Powder
1/2 tbsp Xanthan Gum
Pinch of Salt
2 tbsps Blanched Almonds for toppings (optional)
Wet Ingredients:
4 Eggs
4 tbsps melted Butter
1/2 cup Water
Procedure:
Preheat oven at 180C.
Sift and mix the dry ingredients until well combined.
Add the wet ingredients and mix until well combined.
Optional: Top it with blanched almonds or any toppings of your choice.
Bake for 45 minutes. Let it cool for at least 30 minutes and slice.
***You can steam the loaf/bread for 30-40 mins if you don't have an oven. Just do the toothpick test.

3 tbsps Butter
4 oz Uncured Bacon
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tbsp Keto BBQ Sauce (optional)
2 tbsps Yellow Onion
1 packet Stevia
2 slices of Almond Bread (check above)
2 oz Halloumi cheese
Spanish paprika
2 slices of Cheese
Procedure:
Fry/grill bacon in 1 tbsp of butter. Season with salt & pepper.
Add 1 tbsp of bbq sauce. Fry/grill until crispy. Set aside.
Fry onion. Season with salt. Add stevia. Mix until caramelized. Set aside.
Fry/grill halloumi cheese. Season with pepper. Add paprika. Fry/grill on both sides for 2-3 minutes. Set aside.
Assemble and enjoy!
