Athlete's Foot
Athlete’s foot is a common fungal infection that usually affects the area between the toes leading to itching and burning as well as cracked and scaly skin. Caused by the fungus dermatophyte, this condition is quite contagious and can become dangerous if left untreated.

Symptoms to look for:
• Fungal infection
• Itching, burning & cracked skin

Food groups to consume in athlete's foot:
1. Antioxidant: Boosts immune system
Foods to consume: Apples, pears, oranges, papaya, peaches and vegetables like carrots, beet root, tomatoes, broccoli, spinach and bell peppers
2. Probiotics: Builds good bacteria in gut
Foods to consume: Yogurt

Recipes based on the above food groups:
Recipe 1: Vegetable raita
1. Take about 200 g cows milk yogurt and beat it to get a
consistent liquid
2. Add 1 tbsp chopped red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper and
green capsicum each in it
3. Then, add 1 tbsp grated carrot
4. Next, add salt, pepper to taste
5. You can also add some chaat masala for taste. Chaat masala
is a tangy spice made using dry mango powder and some
other spices like cumin, coriander seeds and black salt
6. Mix this well
7. Your raita is ready. Serve this chilled
Recipe 2: Apple snack
1. Peel and slice 1 apple
2. Add to this a pinch of nutmeg and cinnamon powder
3. In a pan, add 1 tbsp water and 1 tsp butter
4. Add the apple mixture
5. Stir continuously and cook it for about 8-10 mins till the apple
becomes tender
6. Serve hot
