Boils
Boils area result of bacterial infection of the skin,& are characterized by pus-filled painful blisters around the affected area on the skin.It occurs when the bacterium enters into the skin through a cut or a graze and infects the hair follicles on the skin.

Causes:
• Poor hygiene
• Heavy sweating
•Unbalanced diet
• Improper bowel movement
• Consumption of alcohol
-----------------------------
Food groups to consume to get rid of boils:
1. Fiber: Ensures bowel movement and prevents bacterial
growth
Foods to consume: whole grains such as oats, brown rice, whole wheat, millets raw vegetables, fruits and nuts
2. Vitamin A, C & E:They are rich in anti-oxidants and helps to
purify the blood and fight infections
Foods to consume: vitamin A - Carrots, melons, mangoes, papaya, pumpkin and tomatoes
Vitamin C - oranges, lemons, kiwi, pineapple, gooseberry, guava, cabbage, broccoli, &green leafy vegetables
Vitamin E -Almonds, walnuts, pumpkin seeds&, sunflower seeds
3. Probiotics: Help in the production of good bacteria in the gut which helps boosts the immune system
Foods to consume: Yogurt

Recipes based on the above food groups:
Recipe 1: Fruit smoothie
1. Add 1 cup yogurt in a blender
2. Add 1 chopped banana to it
3. Also add 3-4 chopped strawberries
4. Then add 100 ml orange juice
5. Now, blend all these together
6. Make sure to serve this chilled
Recipe 2: Risotto
1. Heat 3 tbsp olive oil in a large vessel
2. Add 2 cups of diced pumpkin in it
3. Saute it for about 5 min on high heat
4. Reduce the heat and add one 1 finely chopped onion in this
5. Stir for 2 min and add 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
6. Now add 1 cup chicken broth in this
7. Also add 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh rosemary leaves in it
Simmer and let the pumpkins and onions cook for about 5 min in the broth
8. Once the pumpkin is cooked, 3 tbsp parmesan cheese
9. Add ½ cup pumpkin seeds in this
10. Also add salt and pepper to taste
11. Stir well and serve hot

• Avoid refined & preserved foods
• Avoid red meat, fried or spicy foods
