Bicep Stretch: How To Do It
Many people seem to be unaware of how to stretch out their biceps muscle. All one has to think about when doing this stretch though, or any stretch for that matter, is to do the opposite actions of what the muscle does. Because the biceps muscle does forearm supination, elbow flexion and shoulder flexion, you are going to do the opposite of those actions.
Basically you are going to do forearm pronation, elbow extension and shoulder extension. So now find an elevated object near you that can support your arm. Stand in front of that object and place the back of your wrist on that object.
Doing this will give you an effective bicep stretch and help to relieve a feeling of tight, stiff arms. If you want to feel the bicep stretch even more in your arm, you can bend your knees slightly while in this position. If you still don't feel a stretch, you may need to either stand further away from the object or place your arm on a higher object.
Remember, you should NOT have pain while doing this stretch. Hopefully this advice helps you out in not only stretching out your bicep muscle, but your flexibility training in general.
