How to Develop Thick Calves - Part 2

Besides the above video where I describe how to get thick calves, there is another useful tip I would like to share with you. In case you did not know, your Gastrocnemius, or the biggest calf muscle you have, has an inner part and an outer part.
Knowing the above, it is actually possible to target both parts of your Gastrocnemius muscle. To do this, first get into a position where you can do standing calf raises, since the Gastrocs are most active when your legs are straight.
When targeting either side of the Gastrocs, think opposites. So to target the inner part of that muscle, point your feet outward. To target the outer part, point your feet inward. This is a very useful tip for growing thick calves, especially if one side of your calves is lagging behind the other.
