HBT - Microcerculus marginatus - Southern nightingale-Wren - Scaly-breasted Wren

This species is a small wren of Central and South America. The species is found from Costa Rica and Panama south to Bolivia and Peru on the floor of humid forest, especially in ravines.
The chronical behind this species goes like this:
"shhhh-shhh" do you hear that sound?
- mmmm yeeee!!
- what is it?
- I know what is!! is the sorrow bird from Ecuadorrrrr!!!
Luckily, after two months surveying the Amazon in Ecuador i had hear this species a lot (well perhaps not that much) and like I usually enjoy doing, i create my own names for the bird sounds to trigger a hint when i hear them again. Unfortunately for the bird, the name is not that happy, but during the quite afternoon in the amazon, hearing this bird made me remember the "sound of sorrow", those descending whistles were something amazing to hear.
Although i did hear it in Ecuador, it took me a few more km to the south, in Peru to be able to give it a best look, is not the best video, but what an awesome bird!!

Esta especie es un pequeña ratona de América Central y del Sur. La especie se encuentra desde Costa Rica y Panamá hacia el sur hasta Bolivia y Perú, donde habita en el sotobosque del bosque húmedo.
La crónica detrás de esta especie va así:
"shhhh-shhh" ¿escuchas eso?
- mmmm siiiiii!!
- ¿Qué es?
- Yo sé lo que es!! es el "pájaro de la tristeza" de Ecuadorrrrr!!!
Por suerte, después de dos meses de relevamientos de aves en la Amazonia en Ecuador habia oído mucho a esta especie (bueno, tal vez no tanto) y, como siempre, inventé mi propio nombre para el sonido del pájaro que escuchaba por primera vez, para que luego desencadene una ayuda memoria la próxima vez que lo escuche. Desafortunadamente para el pájaro, el nombre no es tan feliz, pero durante las tranquilas tardes en el Amazonas, al escuchar este pájaro canta no podía evitar que sonaba como la tristeza/lástima, esos silbidos descendentes fueron algo increíble de escuchar.
Aunque lo había escuchado en Ecuador varias veces, me llevó un viaje de unos pocos kilómetros más al sur en Perú para poder darle un mejor vistazo, no es el mejor video, pero ¡¡¡qué pájaro impresionante!!!
