HB - Poospiza ornata - Cinnamon Warbling-finch

Esta especie de Poospiza es endémica de Argentina, los individuos suelen presentar diferentes grado de coloración como puede observarse en el video, individuos más claros e individuos más oscuros. Cria en el desierto de monte durante la primavera y verano austral, pero durante el invierno austral se desplaza hacia el Norte de Argentina y suele encontrarse en grupos. En esta oportunidad tuvimos suerte de poder observar grandes grupos de esta especie en diferentes quebradas en la provincia de Salta.

This species of Poospiza is endemic to Argentina, the individuals usually present different degrees of coloring as can be seen in the video, lighter individuals and darker individuals. It breeds in the monte desert during the austral spring and summer, but during the austral winter it moves to the North of Argentina and can be found in groups. In this opportunity we were lucky to be able to spot serveral large groups of this species in different small-valleys in the province of Salta.
