HB - Chiroxiphia boliviana - Yungas Manakin

El Bailarin Yungeño (Chiroxiphia boliviana) es el único piprido presente en las Yungas Argentinas. Sin embargo hasta hace poco (2014) nunca habia sido registrado, siendo Flavio Moschione quien primero lo cita para el pais en su checklist de Salta. A pesar de que este primer registro se realizó en el extremo norte de la Argentina, nuevas localides fueron encontradas al poco tiempo, tanto en la zona norte de Salta como en el sur de Jujuy. Este hecho particular genera actualmente debate sobre si la especie es un reciente colonizador, encontrandose en expansion en las Yungas Argentinas, o si se trata de una especie que ha permanecido indetectable desde los origenes de la ornitologia Argentina. The Yungas Manakin (Chiroxiphia boliviana) is the only manakin present in the Argentine Yungas.
