Pulsatrix koeniswaldiana // Tawny-browed Owl

This species is endemic to Atlantic forest where it can be found at 1500 m, in southeast Brazil to extreme northeast Argentina, and eastern Paraguay. In this opportunity we found it at the sunset while Nyctiphrynus ocellatus and Odontophorus capueira were singing and can be heard in the video. Similar to Pulsatrix perspicillata it can be found in pairs giving terrifying duets.

Esta especie es endémica de la selva atlántica, donde se encuentra a 1500 m, en el sureste de Brasil hasta el extremo noreste de Argentina, y en el este de Paraguay. En esta oportunidad lo encontramos al atardecer mientras cantaban Nyctiphrynus ocellatus y Odontophorus capueira que se pueden escuchar en el video. Similar a Pulsatrix perspicillata, se puede encontrar en pares, cantando dúos aterradores.
