On 22 September, 1913, Nicholas II and his third daughter, Grand Duchess Maria Nikolaevna, drove from Livadia, Crimea to Alupka, to attend a church consecration at the Climate Station. This is the film of the event, colourised by Kirill Mituygin, along with corresponding diary entries. See what the location looks like today.
