TRADITIONAL MUSIC SESSION | Finnish tunes | ft. Coed y Brenin

Traditional music sessions are back live! But we loved combining traditional music sessions with walks around beautiful Wales and so the series continues.

This traditional music session took place in May 2022 at The Crown & Anchor pub in Llanidloes in Mid Wales.

Tunes

Cornelius Eger and Alison Hobbs playing two Finnish tunes composed by Arto Järvelä:

1. Tomahuta
2. Pöhölö

Coed y Brenin

We spent a day walking the forest trails at Coed y Brenin near Dolgellau in southern Snowdonia, North Wales. The trails start at Coed y Brenin visitor centre - there is a large parking area, a cafe, shop and other facilities.

Coed y Brenin is very popular with mountain bikers and was the first purpose-built mountain biking centre in Britain. The eight biking trails range in difficulty from complete beginner to technical routes for experts.

There are also running trails and off-road mobility scooter trails.

Coed y Brenin Forest Park is managed by Natural Resources Wales. You can find out more on the website: https://naturalresources.wales/days-out/places-to-visit/north-west-wales/coed-y-brenin-visitor-centre/?lang=en
