The LION HOTEL pub (Mid Wales) | Traditional music session

There is a regular monthly traditional music session at The Lion Hotel pub in Caerhowel in North Powys near Montgomery on the first Thursday of each month. We went along on Thursday 4 July and Graham played his anglo concertina for part of this set.

He was joined at this session by musicians from across Mid Wales and the Borders including Shropshire. Some of those featured in the video include: Bridget Wallbank (flute), Chris Bartram (rub board), Cornelius Eger (mandolin), Geoff Beilby (mandolin & anglo concertina), Lisa Sture (fiddle), Martin Hugill (mandolin), Matt Watson (whistles), Nancy Ketchen (bodhran), and Rees Wesson (melodeon).
