Sir Dancelot ceilidh | Llandinam Village Hall 2020
The Mid Wales ceilidh band Sir Dancelot played for a ceilidh at Llandinam Village Hall near Newtown in North Powys on 28 February 2020.
It was a joyous occasion, with people of all ages from the local community coming together to dance to traditional tunes whilst at the same time raising money for the historic village hall at Llandinam, a small Welsh village half way between Llanidloes and Newtown.
Sir Dancelot ceilidh band has performed at numerous ceilidhs, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and parties across Wales and the Borders over the past 10 years. Band members are based in Llanidloes, a small market town in the middle of Wales.
The band's extensive repertoire spans English, Welsh, European and North American dance tunes; everything from the liveliest jigs, reels and polkas, to stately bourrées, polkas and an dros - and even the occasional East European circle dance.
Musicians in the band:
Cornelius Eger - fiddle, mandolin
Graham Brand - anglo concertina, cittern
Matt Watson - whistles, Jew's harp
Peter Timmins - fiddle
Richard Osborne - guitar
The caller:
Di Esplin
Tunes in order:
