Fat Brown Stirred Fried Rice (One-Pot-Meal)
Fat brown Fried Rice (One -Pot Meal)(Kucchalakku, Par Boiled Rice)
Serving-4
Ingredients
1.5 cup Fat brown rice (soak for 4 hours)
-1/2 +1/2 yellow, red & green bell peppers (diced)
-1 cup mushrooms diced
-1/2 zucchini diced
-2 spring onions chopped
-5 green beans chopped
-1/2 cup purple cabbage chopped
-1 carrot diced
-1 cup sprouts
-10 cloves garlic finely chopped or 2 tsp garlic paste
SAUCES
-3 tbsp garlic chilli sauce
-1.5 tsp dark soy
-2 tsp light soy
-1/2 tbsp oyster sauce (vegetarian can omit this sauce)
-1 tsp till oil
-Few dashes sugar
-Few dashes salt
-1/2 tsp rice vinegar
-1 tsp Worcestershire
-Garnish green onion & toasted crushed peanuts & toasted sesame seeds
-Enjoy!!!
Note
-Don’t overcook the rice, Cook the rice Al dente (Firm to the bite) not mushy.
-Allow the rice to cool it until all of the Steam vanishes.
-Toss Rice well to cover all
The sauces & flavors
-Remember the entire cooking process should happen on the Highest flame otherwise the moisture from the veggies can make the rice mushy.
-Garnish with tossed sesame seeds & toasted peanuts for extra crunch
-Non-Veg lovers can add scrabbled eggs, cut sausages, grilled chicken.
