Standing March Drill (The best warm up drill you're not doing!)

The Standing March Drill is highly underrated and is something I absolutely love as a pre-warm up exercise just to get things moving!
Stand as tall as you can and think about an "ideal posture" with shoulders and hips in good alignment - this is where you want to drill bad habits out of yourself before you start strengthening positions!
Have a small tuck of your pelvis under your body so you feel your lower abs engaged and move slowly with intention on rotating through your middle.
Knees come up high and arms stay bent the whole time - especially focusing on the back arm! Keep it active, working on your shoulder extension by keeping your elbow high as it moves behind you.
Personally I do this drill simply for 1-2 minutes so you can focus on how everything feels, rather than trying to count reps and rush through it.
Add it into a mini morning routine and your warm ups for a while and you’ll fall in love with it, and Jenni and I for showing it to you 😎
