How often do you need to stretch or do mobility?
==HOW OFTEN DO YOU NEED TO DO MOBILITY?==
I was just admiring myself in the mirror there for forty minutes and I had a thought...
The biggest roadblock for people when it comes to doing “mobility stuff” is that they think they need to spend an hour plus at a time 😕
You could if you wanted... but it’s not that much more beneficial.
I’ve spent the past few years looking for that “sweet spot”
Like - how much can I get away with for the maximum return possible? 😏
A super hack? 5-10 minutes of joint movement every day BUT this depends on where you’re at now!
If you really don’t move well and keep having issues when trying to enjoy your training then ideally if you can hit 20 minutes of great exercises that promote:
Better thoracic extension
Improved hip rotation and extension
Deep knee flexion
Ankle dorsiflexion
Plus better balance and core stability
Then you will be on your way to becoming awesome!
This saves you MORE time in the long run - if you keep having to go through building back up after injuries every few months then you will be taking a lot of time off...
Once you have got yourself to a maintenance level that you move well THEN you can really reduce how much you’re doing! That leaves you more time to play and have fun! 🥳
If you get more focused then you’ll be more productive and find your training going a lot better!
