The clamshell is a great movement to strengthen your Glute Max, your Glute Med, and even your Glute Light!

It is one of the most commonly recommended lower body accessory exercises, and it does feel pretty nice so it has good reason to be up there!

Here is our take on it and some little tweaks you can play around with to help get your “booty” feeling “fruity”

….. I don’t know what I meant by that.

BUT! Avast ye Glute Med lovers! Remember this is only ONE muscle of a very complex system! So if you find yourself throwing up more clamshells than the ocean, I recommend looking at your full hip flexibility and strength!
