Elevated Cossacks & Split Squats

This mobility drill is awesome not only for improving the flexibility of your hips but also their strength and stability!

Don’t worry if you don't look graceful when you try this, the more you wobble and the more intense the stretch - the better! It means you'll get loads of benefits out of this and you will improve with simple, good old-fashioned practice.

Remember to apply the tension element as this strength is often what people miss when they start to work on improving their hip flexibility.

You can use a box for this drill or your stairs, dining room chair or sofa, anything you can elevate your foot on!

Great to put into your warm ups and a nice one also to put into your home mobility routines

Practice it every day and who knows! One day you may even be able to go full Jenni!
