EARTHA KITT I Love Men EXTENDED REMIX (Pretty Pass Edit)

My friend Nick at Nandlmusic on Youtube has re-edited this 1984 gay classic from iconic performer Eartha Kitt, and it follows my recent postings of Gloria Gaynor's 'I Am What I Am' and Patti Austin's 'It's Gonna Be Special' - all extended versions of 1983/4 dance hits. Eartha Kitt was a recording artist whose career spanned 5 decades and straddled multiple genres and platforms as she also made herself a household name as the 3rd season incarnation of 'Catwoman' on the 1960's show 'Batman'. Eartha reinvented herself with her 1980's camp anthems like 'Where Is My Man', 'Cha Cha Heels' and this 1984 stomper 'I Love Men'. A minor hit in Europe, this twelve inch recording was a huge hit in nightclubs all over the globe, and helped make Eartha Kitt a gay icon. Nick has reworked this great track and I have used various clips and footage of Ms Kitt to flesh out the video. There will only ever be one Eartha Kitt. Sadly she shuffled off the mortal coil in 2008 - and on Christmas Day, no less! But I'm sure she exited whilst purring.
