DIANA ROSS My Old Piano VIGO QINAN REMIX

A remix of Diana Ross' 1981 hit 'My Old Piano' that has been with me for many years and I thought I would share it. Having posted the original version, this one simply propels this great Nile Edwards/Bernard Edwards composition and production into a funky, danceable treasure. Released in the United Kingdom as the 2nd single from the eponymous 1980 LP 'Diana' after 'Upside Down' - 'Piano' was a Top 10 smash there; and here in Oz, a moderate hit - making the Top 25. Here, as it was in America, it was issued as the 3rd single from the opus - behind 'I'm Coming Out' which was an American success, but not so much downunder. There was no denying the magic that the Chic producers generated for the Motown superstar; revitalising her career and launching an incredibly successful decade of solo hits for Diana.
