Lifted from her 2020 release 'CHICKABOOM!', is Tami Neilson's catchy and somewhat autobiographical piece of country rock: 'Ten Tonne Truck'. In the 4 years since i first discovered her music, it has become apparent to me that there is no genre that Tami cannot sing and sing incredibly powerfully. Here the Canadian by birth; now residing in New Zealand has returned to a more organic country sound and the new album is filled with powerful tracks. Across her career the vocalist has also dabbled in traditional R&B, Pop/Rock and Blues. Above all the genre bending she does is that kick ass voice.
