"Fix" Lateral Pelvic Tilt with Anterior/Posterior Pelvic Tilt For Back Pain | Feldenkrais Style

I have done a few videos on Anterior Pelvic Tilt (APT), Posterior Pelvic Tilt (PPT), Lateral Pelvic Tilt (LPT) all separately. Several people asked me to show how to address lateral pelvic tilt with APT or PPT together. That’s a great question. In reality our movement bias involves multi planes, so pelvic bias usually involves combination of lateral pelvic tilt and APT or PPT. In this video I show you a simple movement retraining exercise to address pelvic bias in multi planes and reduce your pelvic bias and improve comfort.

Pelvic orientation directly influences orientation of the spine particularly lumbar spine and influences its functions. So how do you know which movements you need to do to reduce your pelvic bias? A beauty of retraining movement patterns and nervous system is that you feed the nervous system various movement patterns and let it integrate those movement patterns and recalibrate neutral position. This is great for people with scoliosis, that is again everyone. Interestingly enough, reducing pelvic bias will reduce neck and shoulder bias. Why?? Because everything is connected! Learning about your own body is lots of fun, isnt it?
