As secondary benefits for his engagement in this play, he has gained strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
But did he think or even care about those benefits we adults mainly focus on when we do movement as exercise?? Absolutely not! He didnt care about strengthening and stretching specific muscles. He was doing it because it was fun for him.
So why dont you move and exercise more playfully and get stronger, more mobile, Aand more agile?
