Balti Uncle Discusses American Culture, Broken Families, & Humanity After Inviting Me To His Home 🇵🇰

It was just another travel day for me, and I was looking forward to the scenic journey from Skardu to Gilgit. And just like any other day in Pakistan, the experience I had was better than I could imagine. Ali Musa, a 62 year old honey bee farmer from Khaplu, was sitting in the front of the minibus while I was sitting in the back. He turns and sees me filming out the window and proceeds to yell to me in broken English the history of the Karakoram in front of everybody. He invited me to eat with him on his lunch break and said I could stay in his home once I arrived in Gilgit. He fed me my favorite dish, Chicken Karahi, once I arrived at his home. We talked for a bit and then went to sleep. During breakfast, I asked if I could make a video of him and the food. I did not ask him to speak on camera nor did I ask him any questions prior to the recording of these clips. These are the thoughts and opinions of Ali Musa based on the conversation we had about our families prior to this, plus issues and topics on his mind that he wanted to get off his chest. I am grateful for his insight as well as his hospitality. Drop a comment down below to let me know what you think about the topics covered, and if you may agree or disagree with the beliefs with my most hospitable friend Ali Musa. 🇵🇰
