The Pamir Mountains of Kyrgyzstan - Day hike from Peak Lenin Basecamp

I don't fancy snow much so naturally I had no desire to attempt to summit the least technical 7,000 m peak in the world. But, what I did know is that I wanted to venture past the very easily accessible Peak Lenin Basecamp. The morning following my arrival at basecamp, I took a day hike to the first pass on the way to Advanced Basecamp. Upon reaching the top of the pass, I saw the most delicious ridge that led up to an unnamed peak that stood over 4,000 m high and offered 360 degree views. I wasted no time at the pass and charged up the ridge as quickly as I could. It just so happened that my last day in Kyrgyzstan afforded me the best views I had seen during the entire month I spent traveling the country. Furthermore, the effortless hitchhiking that took place to and from basecamp from Sary Mogul made for a flawless adventure!
