Traveling across the most difficult part of Kyrgyzstan - Break downs, scams, and sleeping in public

After returning to Naryn city from my trip to Kel-Suu, I wanted to find the quickest way to get to the tiny Uzbek village of Arslanbob. CBT Naryn insisted I must go back to Bishkek in order to reach Arslanbob, which was way out of the way. I was determined to travel through central Kyrgyzstan to get to this village and it took nothing but sheer luck to do so. Thanks to the two fellas in the Peace Corps who could speak English and just enough Kyrgyz, I was able to make it to Arslanbob in two days. Here is my adventure and all it took to do what many called expensive or impossible.
