How To Do CHEST FLY (Upper Chest Workout)

Wondering how to tone your chest? Well, the wait is over because the chest fly exercise is the solution for you. This workout is a great way to strengthen your muscles in the chest giving your upper body a well defined look. It not only works on the chest but also the triceps and the shoulders as well. Another advantage of the chest fly exercise is that it increases the metabolic rate of the body. Looking further into its advantages, it strengthens the collarbone too. It helps those who have had an injury in the past.
Let us begin to understand how the chest fly exercise really works on your body:
In order to perform this exercise, you need to make yourself comfortable on a bench and it should come up to the midpoint. Lie down on the bench and take a few deep breaths while looking at the ceiling. Holding dumbbells of the same weight in both hands slowly extend your elbows to your sides. Now start exhaling and bring the dumbbells towards the center of the chest. They should be placed right over the chest. Then when the dumbbells come together, you can again slowly lower them to the starting position. This exercise can be repeated 10 times. If desired, you can do two or more sets of 10 repetitions. In case this exercise begins to get a little easy for you, and then you can increase the intensity of it to see results.
