This is Day 8 of "Thirty 80's Metal Riffs In Thirty Days" going on for the whole month of April 2023.

Today's riff features the band Crimson Glory and the main riff to the song "Lady of Winter" from the Transcendence album (1988).

These guitarists were a great duo--Jon Drenning and Ben Jackson, and along with phenomenal singer Midnight this group created a masterpiece with the Transcendence album. I would also highly recommend their self titled debut from 1986.

This riff has an aggressive, melodic structure and features a harmony part on guitar 2. All is covered in the video explanation.
