"Fade To Black" is the dark melancholy masterpiece ballad from Metallica's 1984 album Ride The Lightning.

In this tutorial we'll focus on the excellent and memorable intro solo by Kirk Hammett. Lots of cool phrasing ideas over a B minor tonality, and even a little sweep picking lick towards the end!
