The Beast of Ulu Muda! Mystery sounds recorded at night deep in Malaysia's rainforest.

When leaving remote audio recording rigs out overnight they often capture interesting and unexpected sounds. In this case, a mystery animal was recorded making these explosive, thumping grunts around midnight deep in Malaysia's Ulu Muda Forest Reserve. I still haven't found a conclusive ID for this sound so I've called it the 'Beast of Ulu Muda' until I can confirm what it is!

The sound appears to come from at least two individuals close to the microphones (one to the left and another in front or above) and at least two more in the far distance.
