TOO BUSY TO WORK OUT? How To Fit A Lower Body Training Session into a Very Busy Schedule. Hip Thrusters & Bodyweight Squats

We all have heard the ‘I just don’t have time’ excuse many times, but is it actually true? Are you that busy in your daily life that you can’t afford to work out? Even if you scatter the work throughout your day? I’d say that you are lying to yourself big time. In this series I’m going to show you in this new series how to stay fit with a busy schedule.

In today's video I'm using 2 great lower body exercises to ilustrate my point: The barbell hip thrust and air squats.

The training approach I personally implement when life gets a bit hectic is ‘Overloading 20 Plus’. This is a tactical solution to make sure that you still have a chance to get in shape despite having a busy schedule. The no-time-to-work-out excuse finally thrown into the garbage can where it belongs.

I hope that this video serves those of you who have come to the realization that unless you make a real change in your fitness today, things are going to go downhill from now. Because none of us is getting any younger, we have to come up with smart strategies to ensure that we take care of ourselves. And that means letting your body do what it supposed to do: MOVE MORE!

Fitting exercise into a busy schedule is not as hard as I show you in this video. You can still get in good shape or stay fit by spending minimal time in the gym. A workout is a mental construct we have created to assign an X amount of time to exercise. However, Overloading 20 plus goes to the root of the mental issue and disassociates ‘training’ to a ‘time window’ or ‘physical location’.

Please adjust the intensities and volume according to your level of strength. The work should be hard, challenging and cause some discomfort, but it shouldn’t be impossible and painful. Bear that in mind.
