Elvis Presley - Blueberry Hill/Little Sister/Get Back - 4 August 1972 Stage Rehearsal - 'Las Vegas

During the seventies, Blueberry Hill was rarely performed by Elvis and even when it was sung it would be either one line or just the first verse. During early 1974, Elvis would occasionally include the first verse of the song segued with I Can’t Stop Loving You, but even this was only done a handful of times. It is therefore nice to hear Elvis sing a virtually complete rendition, albeit in rehearsal and despite Elvis not fully remembering the lyrics!

Also included is an incomplete run through of what was at the time a mid show staple of Elvis’ set list – the Little Sister / Get Back medley.

As with all of these videos, to get the most out of the re-edited audio, I highly recommend you use ear /headphones and turn the volume up as much as you dare!
